WI achieves unwanted world record, register lowest total by Test playing nation in T20 WC
West Indies achieved an unwanted record when they were dismissed for 55 runs by England in the second match of the ICC T20 World Cup.
The wickets fell at the regular intervals and Chris Gayle, who scored just 13, was the only batter who touched the double-digit mark.
All the batsmen played reckless shots and went after the rivals without any plan. Despite being a team of quality and experienced players, the defending champions looked completely out of touch.

Adil Rashid was the star of the bowling line-up. He took four wickets and conceded just 2 runs from 2.2 overs. Apart from him, Moeen Ali (two wickets) and Tymal Mills (two wickets) also bowled well.
Chris Woakes and Chris Jordan dismissed one batter each in the first innings. Earlier, England put defending champion West Indies in to bat in their opening Super 12 game at the T20 World Cup on Saturday.
England opted for a batting-heavy lineup in the first appearance for both teams at this World Cup, with allrounder Chris Woakes getting a chance and Dawid Malan keeping his place at No. 3.
Seamers Chris Jordan and Tymal Mills and spinner Adil Rashid will lead the bowling attack.
T20 veteran Chris Gayle was listed to bat at No. 3 for West Indies, which is seeking a third World Cup title. No other team has won more than one.
Allrounder Andre Russell was in the middle order as West Indies begins its title defense while batsman Roston Chase was left out.
