Watch – Shami bowls the best yorker of T20 World Cup to dismiss Alasdair Evans
Mohammed Shami is back with a bang in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup. After being accused of underperforming deliberately against Pakistan because of being a Muslim, the veteran has shown his class against Afghanistan and Scotland. He was expensive against the Men in Green and New Zealand but came back strongly in the last two games.
After taking three wickets against Afghanistan, he returned with another 3-wicket haul in the next match.
The pacer dismantled Scotland’s batting line-up with his fast deliveries. Among his three wickets, his deadly Yorker to Alasdair Evans was a peach of a delivery. He didn’t even give time to the batter to react and by the time he came to know, Shami had completed his task of taking a wicket.
Shami conceded just 15 runs from his three overs. Apart from him, Ravindra Jadeja also took three wickets as Scotland were dismissed for just 85 runs in 17.4 overs.
