Watch – R Ashwin’s heated argument with Eoin Morgan and Tim Southee

The tempers are flying high in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League as the race to make it to the knock-out stage is getting close. After a verbal slugfest between RCB and MI players, the same kind of incident was seen during the match between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders in Sharjah.

R Ashwin was seen having an argument with Eoin Morgan and Tim Southee as he didn’t like the Kiwi pacer having a go at him. The incident took place on the first ball of the 20th over of DC’s innings which Southee was bowling.

Ashwin was on strike and pulled the short ball. Soon after the catch was taken, Southee abused Ashwin which the latter didn’t like.

Actually, things started heating up in the 19th over when R Ashwin and Rishabh Pant stole a single off the last ball of the 19th over. And when Tim Southee said something to the Indian spinner in the last over of the innings, Ashwin gave it back to fast bowler. This is when Eoin Morgan joined the conversation and said something to Ashwin. The off-spinner got furious and went charging towards the KKR skipper to have a discussion but Dinesh Karthik pushed him away.

Here’s the video:

After being put in to bat first, the Capitals scored just 127 runs on the board in their 20 overs.
