Mohammad Rizwan played a superb knock for his team in their opening game of the ICC T20 World Cup against India. The right-handed batter scored an unbeaten 79 runs off 55 balls and helped the Men in Green defeat India by 10 wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
This was Pakistan’s first victory over the arch-rivals in the World Cups. And now, photos of the wicket-keeper batsman performing namaz on the ground during a break in the Indian innings has gone viral. Saj Sadiq, who is one of the famous sports journalists in Pakistan, has posted about the prayer on social media.
