Watch – Kane Williamson copies Rishabh Pant’s style, hits one-handed six
Kane Williamson, the New Zealand skipper, hit one-handed six off Mohammad Hafeez’s bowling in a T20 World Cup match against Pakistan in Sharjah.
He came down the track to target the bowler and went with the flow to complete the shot. Despite his willow slipping out of his one hand, the ball went over the rope in a long-on region. Team India’s wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant is famous for hitting one-handed sixes.
The right-handed batter was run-out trying to take a single which was never available. He scored 25 runs off 26 balls.
Meanwhile, New Zealand were not able to score freely with Pakistan bowlers restricting the rivals on a below-par score of 134/8 in 20 overs.
Haris Rauf was the most successful bowler for the Men in Green. He took four wickets and never allowed the Kane-Williamson team to get off the blocks.
