Watch – Andre Russell hits 111-metre six vs Australia, the longest of ICC T20 World Cup

West Indies power hitter Andre Russell hit a massive 111-meter six off the fifth ball of the last over of the first innings against Australia. It is the longest six of the ICC T20 World Cup so far.

The right-handed batter scored 18 off just seven balls. Russell has been a letdown in the ongoing global event with the bat but today he hit one of the best bowlers, Mitchell Starc, for a maximum.

Following contributions from Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard (44), Shimron Hetmyer (27), and Evin Lewis (29), West Indies scored 157/7 in 20 overs.
