Virat Kohli’s hunger for success is unbelievable – Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma, the vice-captain of India in the shorter formats, has praised Virat Kohli. In his conversation with the ICC, he spoke about Virat Kohli’s hunger for success and he has evolved over the years.

“The hunger for the success of Virat Kohli is just unbelievable. He evolved each & every year – playing consistent cricket for a long period for the country is remarkable”.

Virat and Rohit are top batters in international cricket and have stitched several match-winning partnerships for the national team. There were reports of a possible rift between the two after the conclusion of the World Cup in 2029. However, they denied the news and even lambasted those spreading the rumours.

Rohit and Virat are representing India in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup in the UAE. Despite their presence, India have lost two consecutive matches in the tournament. Rohit is expected to replace Virat as a skipper in T20Is after the global tournament. Virat had already confirmed that he would leave the captaincy of the T20 World Cup.
