Twitter trolls Azharuddin for referring to Stuart Broad father in his tweet
Social media has often been seen as a boon to us. On the other hand, the portal also has its own setbacks when some users misuse the platform in the form of freedom of speech.
Likewise, when you make even a small mistake, there are others who are waiting in the wings to correct you. Even celebrities, cricketers, and sports personalities are not spared either.
The moment they make a mistake, their fans and followers would immediately spot out mistakes and correct them in the comments section. We have seen celebrities and other famous people deleting their own tweets.
However, social media users take screenshots and make them viral on the portals. This has been the case so far. Meanwhile, former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin made the headlines after he made a big blunder in his tweet.
Mohammad Azharuddin for referring to Stuart Broad’s father in his tweet
In the latest development, England’s senior pacer Stuart Broad has been ruled out of the Lord’s Test. The veteran paceman will not be playing the second Test that starts today due to an injury.
Talking about the same, the former Indian cricketer Azharuddin made a mistake while mentioning Broad in his tweet. Instead of mentioning Stuart Broad, he mentioned Stuart Broad’s father Chris Broad.
Twitter trolls Azharuddin for his big blunder in his tweet
Mohammad Azharuddin was of the opinion that Team India will have an advantage heading into the Lord’s Test. This is because England will have second-string bowlers with injuries to legendary pacers Stuart Broad and Jimmy Anderson.
It will be quite interesting to see if Anderson plays. If he is unfit then Saqib Mahmood would replace him in the playing XI. “With injuries to #ChrisBroad and @jimmy9 England will have a second string of bowlers. Advantage India. #IndvsEng #EngvsInd.” tweeted Mohammad Azharuddin.
Several users responded to the mistake made by Azharuddin in his tweet. Some corrected the former cricketer by adding that it is Stuart Board and not his father Chris Board. Upon realizing the mistake, Azharuddin deleted his tweet later.
Meanwhile, another fan stated that Azharuddin is still stuck in the 1980s. However, Stuart Broad wasn’t at his imperious in the first Test in Nottingham. He hardly made his presence count on the pitch.
Broad remained wicketless in the first innings. He managed to take just 1 wicket in the second innings. Mohammad Azharuddin represented Team India in 99 Tests and 334 ODIs.
He aggregated 6215 runs in Test cricket at an average of 45.04. As far as the 50-over format is concerned, he scored 9378 runs. He played his last international match for India in 2000.

Second string bowlers are also very lethal ones. Cannot underestimate them!

I feel really not Azhar bhai..
Broad was not threating much in the first test machi,, rohit and Rahul was managing him very well.
Anderson yes. But still mark wood is very good in recent days and any new bowler will definitely do the big impact to prove himself.— Yash (@Yadeesh39) August 12, 2021
