Twitter restores MS Dhoni’s verified status after massive backlash
After triggering a massive backlash on Twitter following the removal of MS Dhoni’s verified badge, the social media giant has rectified its mistake and has restored MSD’s blue tick.
Earlier, fans were left in a shock after Twitter’s action against the most successful Indian skipper. They slammed twitter’s action and threatened to boycott the social networking site.
The reason behind Twitter’s action could be his unavailability on the platform. Dhoni’s Instagram and Facebook accounts are still verified.
He was last seen action during the first leg of the Indian Premier League which was postponed after the emergence of COVID-19 cases. The remaining 31 matches will be played in UAE.
