Team India to come back stronger – Virat Kohli

India defeated Namibia by 9 wickets in the last fixture of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Three consecutive wins were not enough for the Men in Blue as one of the favourites for the title couldn’t qualify for the semi-finals. The twin defeats against Pakistan and New Zealand scripted India’s downfall and the results of the other teams didn’t go in favour of the Virat Kohli-led team.

Virat, who led India for the last time in T20Is, has promised to come back stronger. He took to Twitter to thank the supporters of the team.

“Together as one, we set out to achieve our goal. Unfortunately, we fell short and no one is more disappointed than us as a side. The support from all of you has been fantastic and we are grateful for it all. We will aim to come back stronger and put our best foot forward. Jai Hind,” he wrote.
