Take India-Pakistan match as a game, not war – Mohammad Kaif

India and Pakistan will take on each other on October 24 in Dubai. The cricket fans from both countries are ready to support their respective teams. However, there are times when negativity is spread on social media from both sides. The players and their families are targeted.

As the match is about to start, former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif has urged fans not to take the wrong step by spreading hate. He advised everyone to watch the match by keeping all the politics, hate and arrogance aside.

“On this nervous morning, one small piece of advice. It is always a great idea to watch cricket by keeping away politics, hate and arrogance. Enjoy the day, celebrate your win, not your rivals defeat. Treat it as a game, not war. #indvspak” read the message shared by Mohammad Kaif on his Twitter handle on the morning of the Indo-Pak game.

The two nations don’t play bilateral series these days and they only compete in the ICC events and Asia Cup. As far as the T20 World Cup is concerned, India have defeated Pakistan five times while the Men in Green are still waiting for their maiden victory.
