Sensational – India register win in 6.3 overs, go ahead of NZ & AFG in terms of NRR

India were clinical against Scotland in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup. After dismissing them for 85 runs, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul went after the bowlers from the first ball of India’s innings.

Needing to chase 86 in 7.1 overs to go ahead of New Zealand and Afghanistan in terms of net run-rate, the Indian batters completed the task in just 6.3 overs.

While KL Rahul scored 50 off 19 balls, Rohit Sharma scored 30 off 16 balls before he was dismissed by Wheal.

Earlier, Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets each to stop Scotland on a below-par score. Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets.
