Samson posts cryptic tweet after being left out of Team India’s 16-man squad for NZ series
India’s 16-member squad for the three T20Is against New Zealand was announced on Tuesday with senior players rested after being in bio-bubbles for six months.
Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami were given a much-needed break from the action. Venkatesh Iyer, Harshal Patel and Avesh Khan were rewarded with maiden international call-ups.
Hardik Pandya, Rahul Chahar and Hardik Pandya were dropped from the team. Meanwhile, Sanju Samson was not even considered for the selection. He was a part of ODIs and T20Is against Sri Lanka but failed to score heavily. However, he was in good touch in the IPL 2021 for Rajasthan Royals, scoring 484 runs from 14 matches.
He took to Twitter to post a cryptic tweet. Samson posted a three-picture collage of him showing his catching skills.
Samson is currently representing Kerala in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
