Pakistan have a habit of creating hype before every World Cup game – Gautam Gambhir

Former India player and Member of Parliament, Gautam Gambhir, has wished India good luck ahead of the much-awaited match against Pakistan in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup. The two-time World Cup winner stated that political pressure will not impact India’s performance in the global event.

“My best wishes are with the team. They have performed well till now. They will surely win. I have full confidence in them.”

In the wake of recent killings in Kashmir, political leaders of the country wanted the match to be called off.

“The team is doing great. Nothing will impact their performance. The team will play well and will win.”

He also gave his opinion on the claims that Pakistan have a better side this time.

“Pakistan always says like this. If India plays with the same potential then we can win over any country,” Gambhir emphasised.

The veteran of the game started the fourth Jan Rasoi in Delhi on Saturday.

“I want nobody to sleep empty stomach. With that idea, I am come up with Jan Rasoi. From each centre we are feeding around 4,000 people. I want to open more such centres so that we can feed more needy people.”
