Pakistan are favourites to win ICC T20 World Cup after defeating India – Shane Warne

Former Australia cricketer Shane Warne has termed Pakistan as the favourites to win the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup after their sensational win against India. Babar Azam-led team played a perfect game to beat the arch-rivals for the first time in a World Cup match ever. In the previous 12 matches of the mega-events (50-over and 20-0ver), India had emerged victorious.

Shaheen Afridi took two wickets in his first spell. The likes of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul had no answers to his exceptional bowling. He came back to get rid of Virat Kohli, who scored an important fifty. The Men in Blue scored 151/7 in their 20 overs. The chase was easy for Pakistan as their openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan completed the task and the Men in Green won the game by 10 wickets.

Shane Warne feels that Pakistan has made a big statement with a win over India and are now the favourites to win the title.
