NZ may ask for the match to be called off due to noise inside stadium – Shoaib trolls Kiwis

Former Pakistan bowler Shoaib Akhtar has not forgiven New Zealand for leaving Pakistan without playing a game. The Kiwis called off the tour citing a security threat ahead of the first ODI.

Taking to Twitter, he mocked New Zealand ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup match against Pakistan.

“I request all Pakistan fans to remain silent and not enjoy too extravagantly. There is every chance that New Zealand may ask for the match to be called off due to too much noise inside the stadium, if not for security concerns,” he wrote.

New Zealand was slammed for not sharing the Intel with the Pakistan government and abandoning the tour despite being in Pakistan for five days.

Ramiz Raja, the new head of the PCB, had asked the players to defeat New Zealand in a T20 World Cup match to take revenge for the humiliation caused by the abrupt decision of the visitors.
