MS Dhoni to become coach in future – Former Pakistan player

Danish Kaneria, the former Pakistan player, feels that MS Dhoni would become a coach in the future. He was recently asked about MSD’s career options after retirement. While he didn’t give any reason, Kaneria was confident about the choice Dhoni would make in the future.

“I think MS Dhoni would prefer coaching over commentary. I definitely think Dhoni will soon enter the world of coaching and will start a new career in that field,” Kaneria replied.

Mahi retired from international cricket in August 2020, having last played for India in the 2019 ODI World Cup in the semi-final clash against New Zealand.

He was last seen in action during the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League 2021, which was suspended due to the emergence of Covid-19 cases within the franchises. Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings were placed second in the table with 10 points from seven games.
