Maxwell, Hazlewood rock South Africa, dismiss Temba Bavuma & Rassie van der Dussen
South Africa suffered a huge setback in the second over of their match against Australia in the ICC T20 World Cup. Glenn Maxwell, who was asked to bowl the second over of the innings, dismissed South Africa skipper Temba Bavuma. He scored just 12 runs off 12 balls.
Temba started brilliantly in the first over against Mitchell Starc but was undone by Big Show, who has been a revelation as a bowler since the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. If this was not enough, Josh Hazlewood took the second wicket in form of Rassie van der Dussen. South Africa were 17/2 after 3 overs.
Earlier, Australia won the toss and elected to field first. Aaron Finch was confident of winning the game, while Temba looked nervous ahead of the first game of the T20 World Cup.
