Kuch to sharam karo janab – Fans worried after Virat Kohli’s another failure
India were in trouble after losing three wickets in the first session of the third Test against England. After dismissing KL Rahul and Cheteshwar Pujara, James Anderson got better of the India skipper, Virat Kohli as well.
His poor form continued as the 32-year-old has now gone 50 innings without a century in international cricket.
The visitors were 4/2 when Kohli came in to bat but the skipper chose the wrong ball to play his drive.
The delivery moved away a bit to take the thick edge of Virat’s bat.
He scored 7 runs off 17 balls to leave his team struggling at 21/3.
James Anderson has dismissed Virat Kohli 10 times in international cricket.
Earlier, India won the toss and chose to bat first against England under a bright sky in the third test at Headingley on Wednesday.
India captain Virat Kohli said the wicket was “nice and firm,” and added: “Runs on the board will be crucial to set up the test match.”
India leads the five-match series 1-0 after its 151-run victory at Lord’s and has only once won more than a single test match in a tour of England, in 1986.
While India was unchanged from Lord’s, England brought in Craig Overton for injured paceman Mark Wood and Dawid Malan — the No. 1 batsman in Twenty20 international cricket — for Dom Sibley, who was dropped from the squad.
Malan will bat at No. 3, meaning Haseeb Hameed will jump one place to open.
Meanwhile, Fans slammed Virat for his poor display.
Anderson gets Kohli too nicking behind. We are seeing one of the great opening spells in modern cricket. What a crisis India find themselves in after the rousing win at Lord’s!

Think Anderson enjoyed that one… Kohli gone and India in some schtuck. #ENGvIND

That is a very poor shot from Virat Kohli. Jimmy Anderson has three in the first hour.
