KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan, arrested after anti-drugs raid

KKR co-owner and one of the leading Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan’s 23-year-old son Aryan Khan was arrested on Sunday following a raid at a party on a cruise ship by Narcotics Control Bureau or NCB. Aryan was earlier questioned after the raids by the agency.

Shah Rukh Khan was seen leaving his house as he headed to his lawyer’s office shortly before his son was arrested.

“All eight, including Aryan Khan, are being questioned. Based on their statements further action will be taken,” the anti-drugs agency had said earlier in a statement.

Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra, Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant were questioned by the anti-drugs agency. The agency personnel boarded the Goa-bound ship disguised as passengers and busted the party after they saw people consuming drugs on the cruise.

Drugs like Ecstasy, Cocaine, MD (Mephedrone) and Charas were recovered from the travellers.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan has not attended any matches in the ongoing UAE leg of the Indian Premier League. The megastar was seen with his kids when the 13th edition of the cash-rich league was played in the UAE. His team, KKR, is still in contention for the playoffs but they will have to win the remaining two matches of the ongoing season.
