Kiwi bowlers rock India as Ishan, Rahul and Rohit departs
India are repeating the same story which was unveiled in the first T20 World Cup match against Pakistan. After losing Ishan Kishan early in the innings, KL Rahul followed his partner and was undone inside the powerplay overs. The right-handed batter went for a big shot but was unable to clear the boundary rope, giving Tim Southee his first wicket.
If this was not enough, Rohit Sharma also went for a big shot and was caught by Martin Guptill. Ish Sodhi bowled a short delivery but Hitman was unable to convert it into a big six.
Earlier, Ishan was dismissed by Trent Boult. The team management surprised everyone when they decided to open with Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul. Rohit Sharma, who is a regular opener of the team was pushed back to one down position for the ongoing match in Dubai.
