Jos Buttler slams the first hundred of ICC T20 World Cup 2021

Jos Buttler hit the first hundred of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup in the UAE. The right-handed batter scored an unbeaten 101 runs off 67 balls. His innings was laced with 6 sixes and 6 fours. The pitch was on a slower side where scoring was not easy for the players but Buttler applied a different kind of template.

He started slowly but after setting his eyes in, Buttler went after the bowlers and cleared the boundary rope easily. It was his explosive batting that took England to 163/4 from the allotted 20 overs.

Apart from him, skipper Eoin Morgan scored a valuable 40 runs off 36 balls. Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field first.
