Indian players will try to win T20 World Cup for Virat Kohli – Ajinkya Rahane
India will start their T20 World Cup campaign against Pakistan on October 24 in Dubai. Ajinkya Rahane, the Test vice-captain, feels the current squad will try to win this World Cup for Virat Kohli. The skipper, who is leading India for the first time in the global event of the shortest format, will step down from his post after the tournament.
Rahane also added that he is confident of doing well in T20Is. Speaking to Aaj Tak, he also shared his views on MS Dhoni being the mentor of the T20 squad.
“I am confident that I can do well in T20s. We will try to win this World Cup for Virat Kohli,” he said.

Ajinkya Rahane was a part of the Test which won two Test matches in England. India were leading 2-1 in a five-Test match series before the final match was called off due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the Indian camp. Rahane had an ordinary series against the hosts.
