India to win this edition of T20 World Cup – Cheteshwar Pujara

Cheteshwar Pujara has backed Virat Kohli-led India to win the ICC T20 World Cup in the UAE, stating that India have a good squad and the players are looking set for the global tournament.

Pujara said that Indian players have worked hard for the T20 World Cup after facing a crushing defeat in the finale of the ICC Test Championship against New Zealand earlier this year.

Pujara added that conditions will suit the Indian bowlers.

“The conditions in UAE are favourable for us because we have all-rounders like Ravindra Jadeja. Overall we have a balanced side and we have got a very good chance to win the World Cup,” Pujara added.

India will start their campaign against Pakistan on October 24 in Dubai. Earlier, India defeated England and Australia in the two warm-up games ahead of the Super 12 stage.
