India should allow their players to play in other leagues around the world – Vaughan

After India’s ordinary performance in the second match of the ICC T20 World Cup, the fans and former cricketers are coming up with various theories and suggestions.

Michael Vaughan, the former England skipper, who is quite active on social media, wants the BCCI to allow the Indian players to play in different T20 leagues across the globe to gain experience.

“India should take a leaf out of all other countries … Allow their players to play in other leagues around the World to gain experience,” he wrote.

Indian men cricketers are not allowed to play in any T20 league apart from IPL. However, there is no restriction on the women cricketers of India. They have played in the Big Bash League and The Hundred in Australia and England respectively.

Meanwhile, Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets while New Zealand won the game by 8 wickets. India scored just 110 for 7 in their second match against the Kane Williamson-led team.
