India likely to drop Ishant Sharma, R Ashwin to play 4th Test

According to multiple reports, Team India is likely to drop Ishant Sharma and include R Ashwin in the fourth Test. Ishant went wicketless in the third Test of the series and he looked a bit tired.

India skipper Virat Kohli did not say anything about the lanky fast bowler in a post-match presentation ceremony but he gave hints at making a few changes for the upcoming Test match.

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was injured during the third Test, and it seems he will not feature in The Oval Test starting on September 2.

This could open gates for R Ashwin, who hasn’t played a single Test match against the hosts. Ashwin is one of the best spinners in the world, who took 32 wickets against England at home earlier this year.

India were comprehensively defeated by England in the third Test match.
