India all-rounder Yusuf Pathan to make a comeback, set to play for this team
Former Indian all-rounder Yusuf Pathan will play for Abu Dhabi T10 franchise Maratha Arabians. Pathan, who represented India in 57 ODIs and 22 T20Is, is renowned for his aggressive batting across formats. He has represented Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The veteran played 174 matches in the cash-rich league.
Pathan accumulated 3204 runs in 154 innings at a strike rate of 142.4 in one of the best T20 leagues. Yusuf retired from international cricket in February this year before participating in the Road Safety World Series for India Legends alongside the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag and brother Irfan Pathan.
The 2021 Abu Dhabi T10, the fifth season of the tournament, will see an increased number of matches to be played in 15 days.
