IND-AFG match was fixed – Pakistani actress makes sensational claim, Aakash gives classy reply

Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra on Wednesday gave a classy reply to a Pakistani television actress, who stated the match between India and Afghanistan was fixed as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) bought the game to end the team’s winless run in the ICC T20 World Cup.

Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul combined for a blistering 140-run opening stand Wednesday as India racked up the highest score in this year’s T20 World Cup and finally won its first game, beating Afghanistan by 66 runs.

Rohit smashed 74 off 47 balls and Rahul made 69 off 48 deliveries in India’s mammoth total of 210-2 after captain Virat Kohli lost his third successive toss and was asked to bat first.

“This is how it is done. India played like India,” tweeted Aakash moments after the game. However, actress Sehar Shinwari replied to him saying, “BCCI bought a good match.”

Aakash Chopra responded back in style. “If only closed minds came with closed mouths.”
