ICC T20 World Cup, ENG vs SL – Dasun Shanaka won the toss and has decided to field first

Sri Lanka have won the toss and elected to field first. England are on a roll in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup. They have won three consecutive matches and a win in today’s match will seal their place in the semi-finals of the global event in the UAE. Batters and bowlers have clicked for the champion side and they have looked comfortable against all the rivals.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand, have been founding wanting in the competition. Apart from their clinical performance against Bangladesh, the team has struggled against other teams. They need a win to stay alive in the competition but it is highly unlikely given the type of players England have at the moment.

England have won eight of their 12 previous T20Is against Sri Lanka, including three of their four meetings at T20 World Cups.

A team winning the toss will field first considering the dew factor.
