I resigned in front of 220 million Pakistanis – Shoaib mocks PTV for initiating inquiry against him
Shoaib Akhtar has a habit of speaking his mind no matter what others think. He recently had a spat with an anchor of a TV Show after the latter deemed his comments as rude. The incident happened during the Pakistan vs New Zealand match of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup.
He was told to leave the show by the anchor. Shoaib was shocked as he never expected such treatment on a national TV channel. The former pacer left the show and decided to cut off his ties with the channel.
PTV has initiated an inquiry against Shoaib and Nauman Niaz, the anchor, and the two will not be allowed to come on air until the outcome of the proceedings.
After reading about the action, Shoaib took to Twitter to make fun of the latest happening.
“Well, that’s hilarious. I resigned in front of 220 million Pakistanis & billions across the world. Is PTV crazy or what? Who are they to off-air me?.”
