I am lucky to have elder brother like you – Mohammed Siraj on Virat’s birthday

Virat Kohli has turned 33 today. The India skipper is leading India in the ongoing match against Scotland. India need to win this game of the ICC T20 World Cup to keep their hope of qualifying for the semi-finals alive.

Mohammed Siraj, who has become an important part of Team India in Test cricket, took to Twitter to wish his captain. According to him, he is lucky to have an elder brother like Virat who has stood by him.

“Not everyone is as lucky as me to be blessed with an elder brother like you. Thank you so much for coming into my life and standing by my side through thick and thin. I hope you get all that you truly deserve. Happy Birthday king Crown @imVkohli,” he wrote.

Despite his ordinary performance in some matches of the Indian Premier League, Siraj was backed by Virat. The continuous support by the RCB skipper paid rich dividends when Siraj won several games for the franchise in the last two seasons. Siraj lost his father when he was with the national team in Australia and even then Virat gave him his full support to recover from the personal loss.

Siraj has not looked back since then and has been a top performer in red-ball cricket. He was unstoppable in Australi and England.
