How fans think on the outside about team’s performance has no importance for us – Virat Kohli

India captain Virat Kohli looked calm and composed ahead of the important ICC T20 World Cup game against New Zealand. If India lose on Sunday, the hopes of a semi-final berth will take a beating. However, Virat is not bothered by what fans think about the performance of the team.

“Whether people portray it as India can’t afford to lose another game, that’s none of our business. We will play sport as we understand exactly how sport goes. How people think on the outside has no value whatsoever inside the group,” Kohli said on Saturday.

Virat who is captaining in his first and last T20 World Cup as a captain failed to lead India to win against Pakistan. Despite Virat scoring 57 against the arch-rivals, the Men in Blue failed to take a wicket during Pakistan’s chase.
