Hafeez suffers food poisoning after having food from local a restaurant

Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has been hit by a stomach bug and is suffering from food poisoning after consuming food from a restaurant near his area in Pakistan. He was supposed to join Central Punjab’s squad in the ongoing competition National T20 Cup. But his health deteriorated by eating the food.

He has also complained to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the poor quality of food the hotel served. Keeping the upcoming T20 World Cup in mind, Hafeez wanted to get match ready by playing in the T20 Cup.

The all-rounder is in the 15-member squad for the biggest event of the shortest format. According to a report published in ARY Sports, Hafeez is not fine at the moment.

He is one of the best players in the shortest format of the game and Pakistan would rely on him in the ICC event in the UAE.
