Glenn Maxwell has been the best batsman of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. After failing for years, he was bought by Virat Kohli-led side and the Aussie player has been sensational for them. He scored a well compiled 57 off just 33 balls against Punjab Kings.
His innings was laced with 4 fours and 2 sixes and it was brilliant batting that took RCB to 164/7 in 20 overs. In a team dominated by Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, Maxwell has outperformed both of them in the ongoing season.
Maxwell has accumulated 407 runs in 12 matches at an average of 40.70 in the 14th season of the cash-rich league. He has hit five half-centuries and his runs have come at a brilliant strike rate of more than 145. Meanwhile, fans lauded Maxwell for his consistency in the league.
