Good or bad day both part of cricket – Kamran Akmal speaks in favour of Team India
India have underperformed in the ongoing match against New Zealand. Despite being home to Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, the team scored just 110 from 20 overs. The high-profile batting unit failed to get going and none of the batters scored heavily. Trent Boult (3 wickets) and Ish Sodhi (2 wickets) were the top performers for the Kiwis.
With a certain defeat on the cards, the fans and former cricketers were left disappointed by what they saw in Dubai. Vikrant Gupta, who is one of the leading sports journalists in India, took to Twitter to express his disappointment.
“Fear of Failure writ large within the Indian camp. You can’t be this bad #IndvsNZ,” he wrote.
To everyone’s surprise, Kamran Akmal, the legendary Pakistan player, spoke in favour of the Virat Kohli-led team. According to him, a good or a bad day is part of cricket.
“This is cricket…Good day or bad day both are the part of cricket,” he wrote.
