Exclusion from T20 World Cup squad is disappointing – Mohammed Siraj

Indian team fast bowler Mohammad Siraj has come a long way in his international career. After making his performance count in Australia, Siraj displayed his bowling skills in England as well. He was looking forward to the upcoming T20 World Cup but the pacer failed to make the cut.

According to him, he was disappointed after not getting a chance at the showpiece event.

Speaking to Sportstar, Siraj said,” Well, the selection is not in our hands. It was certainly a dream to play in the T20 World Cup. But, again, that is not the end of it all. I have many more goals – the biggest being to play a lead role in helping the team to win matches.”

Siraj added that he will continue to work towards improving his bowling skills. He wants to lead Hyderabad to glory in Ranji Trophy.

“It is one of my dreams to play a lead role in guiding the team to a major title triumph in domestic cricket. It was disappointing that we are not in the Elite Group of Ranji Trophy too. So, I want to give more than 100 percent and help my team script a few big wins,” the pacer said.
