Daniel Jarvis invaded the pitch twice during the ongoing Test series between England and India. While he tried to field for the Virat Kohli-led team during the second Test at Lord’s, Jarvo arrived on the ground to bat for the visitors after the dismissal of Rohit Sharma in the third Test.
Later, English county Yorkshire banned him from entering the Headingley Stadium for life. Jarvo became famous after his invasion and his popularity increased on social media. He is a die-hard fan of Team India. Speaking to CricTracker, Jarvo revealed interesting things.
“If it’s England vs India, I will not lie about this. I’ll probably support India because they have been great to me. The England team was moody when I was in the Lord’s Stadium. And, I am an Indian now. So, the team means a lot to me,” he said.
When he was asked about his second pitch invasion in the Leeds Test, he said: “I didn’t intrude the field, I was meant to be there. It was unintentional. When I got there, the English team got scared because they knew I would win the game for India. So, they made me go out.”
