Chris Gayle mocks New Zealand, says ready to visit Pakistan

After New Zealand Cricket (NZC) abandoned their limited-overs Pakistan tour before the first one-day international due to security threat, West Indies star player Chris Gayle mocked the kiwis for their decision. The left-handed batsman, who is known for his fun-loving attitude, took to Twitter and stated that he is ready to travel to Pakistan.

His tweet got a mixed response on Twitter with former Pakistan seamer Mohammad Amir reacting to it as well.

“See u there legend,” Amir tweeted after Gayle’s comment, “I’m going to Pakistan tomorrow, who coming with me? wink.”

Meanwhile, Gayle is in UAE with Punjab Kings for the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.

Earlier, former Windies skipper Daren Sammy also voiced his opinion on the matter.

“Disappointed waking up to the news of the cancellation of the Pakistan Vs New Zealand series because of security issues. Over the last 6 years playing and visiting Pakistan has been one of the most enjoyable experiences. I’ve always felt safe. This is a massive blow to Pakistan,” Sammy tweeted.
