Bumrah surpasses Chahal, becomes the highest wicket-taker for India in T20Is
Jasprit Bumrah added another feather in his cap as he surpassed teammate Yuzvendra Chahal to become the most successful bowler for India in T20Is. The pacer took two wickets against Scotland to achieve the landmark.
Bumrah got rid of Kyle Coetzer and Mark Watt to go past Chahal. He came to the ICC T20 World Cup with 60 T20I wickets and needed 4 scalps to break Chahal’s record who has dismissed 63 batters in the shortest format of the game.
After going wicketless against Pakistan, he got rid of two Kiwi batters in the second match of the tournament. The Indian fast bowler has 64 wickets in 54 T20Is.
