Borrow Ashwin for England – Fans dejected after spotting Indian spinner sitting alone at The Oval
Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin’s continuous to remain on the bench in the ongoing Test series against England. The off-spinner, who is one of the best bowlers in Test cricket, has been kept out of the squad for reasons best known to Virat Kohli and the management. Ravindra Jadeja, who has been preferred over the veteran spinner, has hardly performed well against the hosts.
Despite Ashwin’s remarkable bowling in one of the county matches for Surrey against Somerset ahead of the Test series against England, he was not selected.
Meanwhile, at the Oval, Ashwin was seen sitting alone in the stands on the fourth day. Cricket fanatics were dejected to see a champion bowler being treated in a wrong way.
