Bohot shanti hai aaj – Virat trolls Punjab for “Shanti” tweet as RCB register win

Virat Kohli is a competitive cricketer who never shies away from giving it back to rivals. After Royal Challengers Bangalore victory against Punjab Kings, Kohli took a dig at the Punjab based franchise.

The incident started in the first leg of games in India. After winning a game in Ahmedabad against RCB, Punjab Kings’ social media account had uploaded a picture of the Virat Kohli’s dugout, which wasn’t in the good mood at the time.

As a caption, they wrote, “Yahan pe sab Shanti Shanti hai.” The RCB social media team took it lightly and wrote: “Because we neither go overboard when we win nor over-analyze a loss.” After facing the heat from RCB fans, Punjab Kings deleted the tweet.

Now, coming back to the UAE leg of the league. After RCB won the game by 6 runs, Virat Kohli was in the dressing room and was talking to his teammates about the qualification to the playoffs. While he was walking outside the dressing room, he said, Bahut Shanti hai aaj.’
