Babar Azam’s mother was on ventilator when he led Pakistan to win against India – Azam Siddique

Babar Azam’s father, Azam Siddiqui, has revealed that the mother of the Pakistan skipper was on a ventilator when he played a match-winning innings against the Men in Blue. The right-handed batter scored an unbeaten 68 in Dubai but his heart was with his mother, who went under the knife. She was put on a ventilator following her surgery.

“I want to reveal something to the people of my great nation. The day Pakistan played against India, Babar’s mother was on a ventilator but he led his team to win. He was in pain in all the three matches but she is fine now,” he said.

Babar has been a revelation as a skipper in the ongoing T20 World Cup. Apart from his exceptional batting, he has been spot on as a captain of the side. He is leading Pakistan for the first time in the global event of the ICC event. Pakistan have won three consecutive matches so far.
